    Jenna provides counseling for the spectrum of mental health issues for groups and individuals at least 14 years of age. She also specializes in treating emotional trauma and while she is not a Biblical Counselor, as a Christian, she welcomes the opportunity to counsel those who are struggling with matters of faith and spirituality. Her approach is gentle, honoring, patient and when needed, direct. Jenna utilizes her natural-born talent as an empath to create a safe, and non-judgmental space and seeks to establish and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients. Jenna focuses on the client’s strengths while utilizing a variety of theoretical approaches and research-based techniques that have empirical evidence of effectiveness such as but not limited to Family Systems, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic, IPNB modalities (Interpersonal Neurobiology), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Microcurrent Neurofeedback.

    Jenna is licensed in the State of Alabama as an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) by the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling (ABEC), ALC # C3891A. She is under the supervision of Michelle Pruett, LPC-S, #2443. She received her master’s degree, Summa Cum Laude, in clinical mental health counseling from Colorado Christian University (CCU) in 2020.

    She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) by the National Board of Certified Counselors which is a private certifying agency that recognizes counseling professionals that meet their standards of education, knowledge, and professional experience.
